By analyzing representational work you're doing now we'll find the strong design elements that will become the basis for doing abstract work. The fun begins as we use COLOR and SHAPE to transform what lies beneath into a new piece that is exciting and compelling.

We'll see that art is more than painting just what we know and we'll explore what can be. You'll be encouraged to make work that has a life of its own, appreciated for its design and the richness of the paint itself.

We will take chances but have fun along the way, seeing that only through mistakes and apparent failure do we grow and learn.

I'll be working in acrylic on canvas or panel, but you'll work in whatever medium you want.

There are only a few spaces left so sign up soon.
